In an emergency, always call 9-1-1 or (440) 238-7373
As of July 2018, the Olmsted Falls Fire Department has responded to over 670 emergency calls this year.
Olmsted Falls continues to work closely with neighboring fire departments to develop coordinated response plans for fires and emergency medical calls. Since many communities face multiple barriers that could delay the response of Fire and EMS services, an automatic aid policy has been developed that will help to minimize any delays in response.
Olmsted Falls Emergency Medical Service transports are sent to three primary area hospitals including:
- Southwest General Health Center
- Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital
- University Hospitals St. John Medical Center
Certain types of trauma and burn patients are transported directly to MetroHealth Medical Center
